A Classical Education Rooted in Wonder
Kindergarteners create a Book of Continents, while 1st graders examine significant historical moments from places around the world. Second through 6th graders create a Book of Ages, documenting historical wonders from the early Mesopotamians, Egyptians, Greeks, and up to the modern world. Early grades explore the overarching biblical narrative, while upper grades examine the Old and New Testaments. Second graders begin a study of Latin as a base for English Grammar.
Nature walks and journaling are a weekly occurrence for all grades. All students develop as artists and musicians. Students also participate in the life of a working farm as summer moves to fall, winter, and spring. Students have ample time to play with all the content they encounter. Scripture and poetry memorization occur at all levels, culminating in event nights throughout the year for the community to gather and celebrate.
